summer is here!

Hello friends and family!

It is finally summer! I apologize for not being on here more, HA life has been really busy the past few months. But alas, I am alive!!! I finished my finals this last week and am very thankful.

Summer brings with it many things, one being more free time! I am going to be reading a lot of books (that I actually want to read!) and will be working really hard on fund raising for my next year at the Honor Academy. I have been accepted to stay at the Honor Academy as a Graduate Intern and Management Associate. I will be a supervisor in the Acquire the Fire call center, and get the chance to pour into the interns I supervise. I am very excited for this opportunity. I will need to raise $5400, which is $2400 less than this past year.

I will hopefully be on here more often. Please drop me a comment, leave me some love :)

Seasons of New Beginings

Hello every one! :)

It is now SPRING! And not only is it spring outside but also in my life. This is a season of growth and fruitfulness, and new beginnings. I am finishing up the last part of my internship the next three months. And starting my graduate internship in August, as a Management Associate. I will soon for sure find out about my job, in the next couple weeks are so and I am very excited about that. I hope to stay in the Acquire the Fire Call Center.

I am also fundraising for my mission trip to New York City. In New York I will be working with a ministry called Metro Ministries, there we will be doing children's services on the street, reaching the children! I am very excited about this opportunity! I need about $570 by May 12th. And the additional $790 I believe I need that in June. Welcome!

Hello friends and family,

Thank you for reading this blog. It is my hope that this will be used to help us keep in touch while I am here at the Honor Academy. It is much easier for me (as I am sure it is for you) to update you here, rather than try and call all of you, though you know I love to talk to you whenever possible.

The Spring is a very busy time around here! It seems as though we have very little free time! I will give you just a few updates of the AMAZING things God has been doing this past month.

As you know, my role in the ministry is the Assistant Director of the Atlanta Acquire the Fire, our event has been challenging, but as of March 20th we only have 91 seats left and the event is still a month away! Praise God! Our total number of tickets sold is 1,040, so it will be a smaller event, but there is so much room for growth next year! We know God is going to do great things in the lives of the teens, pastors and parents that will be in attendance. (My call team and I are pictured at right)

I also selected my missions trip earlier this month, I will be going to New York City to partner with Metro Ministries! They are a traveling children's ministry reaching out to the street children in New York City. I will be leading a group of teen missionaries as we work for two week, June 14- June 26. The cost is approximately $1600, added to the cost of my Honor Academy Tuition.

Also at the beginning of this month I received my Honor Ring, this ring is a lasting symbol of my commitment to living a life of honor, integrity and maintaining the high standards that God has placed for my life. Below are some pictures of the night.
